Day 1 Dehradun Arrival

At the motel, eat breakfast and unwind.

Day 2 Dehradun - Yamunotri

 

Your helicopter-based Chardham yatra’s second day will start in the powerful Yamunotri region.

To board a helicopter and travel to Yamunotri, you must drive the vehicles that are ready for you to Sahastradhara Helipad.

At 6:00 AM, our representative will pick you up and drive you to the state government helipad on Sahastradhara Road in Dehradun, from which we will soar to Yamunotri.

Check into your hotel when you arrive in Kharsali (Yamunotri).

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting out on the approximately 5-kilometer journey to Yamunotri temple for darshan in a palki or pony. Enjoy the splendour of nature as you bike! You’ll arrive back at the motel by lunchtime following the divine sighting.

Day 3 Yamunotri - Gangotri

Around 7:45 in the morning, you will board a helicopter and take off for Gangotri to start the third day of the Chardham trip package by helicopter.

 

You will be taken to your accommodation for check-in and a chance to freshen up after arriving at Harsil Helipad (Gangotri).

You will depart for the 20-kilometer-distance VIP darshan of the Gangotri shrine in a cab following an early-morning breakfast. 

 

A freshly prepared supper and an evening bonfire are the perfect way to cap off your third day of your Chardham yatra package by helicopter before going to bed.

Day 4 Gangotri - Kedarnath

You will be transported by helicopter to the celestial residence of Kedarnath Temple on the fourth day of the Chardham pilgrimage.

This temple is nothing less than a paradise for those who love the outdoors, with the enormous snow-capped mountains serving as its background.

From Gangotri, you will land at the Guptkashi/phata helipad. After changing helicopters, you will fly the 10 minutes to Kedarnath from Guptkashi.

You will enjoy the splendour of the sky’s changing hues as you approach Kedarnath.
You will be taken by one of our representatives to the Kedarnath Temple for VIP Darshan and Jal Abhishek.
Your accommodations are at Guptkashi. Following your visit to Kedarnath, we will transport you to Guptkashi or Phata Helipad.

Day 5 Kedarnath - Badrinath

you will travel to Badrinath on the fifth day of your Chardham tour schedule, passing through deep valleys and taking in the majestic view of the towering Himalayas.

Our handlers will transport you to the hotel after you land at the Badrinath helipad so you can enjoy breakfast or lunch and go to the Badrinath VIP darshan.

For the vishnusahasarnam path, our representative will drive you to the temple in the nighttime. 

 

Spend some relaxing time in the Mana Village, which is close to the Badrinath temple.

Day 6 Badrinath - Dehradun

Covid Guidlines for Chardham Yatra 2023

  • Passengers have to cover their faces with mask to board the helicopter.
  • No Devotee will be asked for a negative Covid-19 test report or a Covid-19 vaccination certificate this year.
  • Covid 19 tests are not compulsory for outer state and inter-state passengers.
 

Guidelines for Helicopter

 
  • Maximum 05/06 Passengers/Guest will be allowed in 01 Helicopter.
  • 5 kg luggage will be permitted in the chopper by per passenger. Those who bring excessive luggage would not be allowed to take their further baggage with them in the helicopter. 
  • Keep the medical kits with you, as the temples are on high altitude.
  • Timings are flexible, depending on weather conditions/technical reasons/govt — permissions, etc.
  • Passenger are not allowed to carry trolley bags because of the limited space, you should carry duffle bags or soft bags.
  • Three choppers will fly on the same day for the Chardham yatra. We may adjust passenger according to their bodyweight.
  • At Kedarnath shuffle, Extra INR 200 per kg will be charged if the passenger weight is more than 80 KG.
  • While changing the helicopter at Kedarnath or Guptkashi, the waiting time is between 10 mins to 3 hrs. Depending on Shuttle slots/weather conditions or technical reasons.
  • Passengers may be divided into two groups while changing the helicopter at Kedarnath/Guptkashi shuttle, depending on their body weight.
  • Properties on tour are 3 to 4-star category except for Yamunotri as it is a remote or rural area.
  • The weight of the total passenger should not be more than 430 kg.
  • All passengers will be taken to all the helipads at least 1 hour prior to the departure time. In this case, sometimes, you may have to wait at the government Helipad.
  • Share your actual and exact body weight at the time of registration. We will check your weight before flying, and it shouldn’t be more than what you have informed us. The company have full rights to de-board a passenger in case the actual body weight exceeds the weight given by passengers. Kindly don’t share any assumed body weight.
 

Helicopter Weight Limitation

According to the aviation department only 6 people can sit in a helicopter and the maximum weight of each passenger should be 72 kg, your weight will be measured before the take off and if we found more than the standard weight, you can be prevented from boarding the helicopter, in that case, you can contact us and get advice.

Also, the maximum capacity of a helicopter is 430 kg which does not include passenger baggage and a passenger can carry only 5 kg maximum weight with him.

Disclaimer for Bad Weather

Any type of flying is challenging in mountainous areas, sometimes in case of bad weather, busy air traffic, and passenger’s illness, helicopter may be delayed or other unforeseen event may also occur, so passengers should be prepared for any such situation. Although adequate safety gear is provided by the crew but the passengers will have to keep their preparations complete.
