This tour takes you through some of the most fascinating and historically rich cities of Rajasthan, as well as the capital city of Delhi. The tour starts in Delhi, the bustling capital city of India, which is home to some of the
country’s most iconic landmarks, including the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, and the Lotus Temple. From Delhi, you will travel to Mandawa, a small town in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan known for its beautifully painted havelis, or mansions.
Next on the itinerary is Bikaner, a desert city in the north of Rajasthan, famous for its stunning palaces and forts. From Bikaner, you will travel to Jaisalmer, a city located in the heart of the Thar Desert, known for its impressive sandstone architecture and its proximity to the Sam Sand Dunes.
The tour then moves on to Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City due to the blue-painted houses in its old town. Jodhpur is home to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort and the stunning Umaid Bhawan Palace.
The next stop is Kota, a city located on the banks of the Chambal River, known for its ancient temples and palaces.
From Kota, the tour moves on to Ajmer, a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Muslims, known for the stunning Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
Next, you will visit Pushkar, a holy city for Hindus, known for its Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake.
Finally, the tour ends in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, known as the Pink City due to the pink-painted buildings in its old town. Itinerary of Heritage Tour of Rajasthan 2023
Day 01: Arrive In Delhi
Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After checking into the hotel, your tour will be briefed. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 02: Delhi- Mandawa (Shekhawati) Drive -6/7 Hrs
Drive to Mandawa in the morning, stopping in Navalgarh along the way. Check into your hotel in Mandawa. Evening market visit and Mandawa tours to see the house painting. Dinner and overnight stay at Mandawa.
Day 03: Mandawa- Bikaner Drive -6/7 Hrs
Drive to Bikaner via Sikar in the morning. Arrive in Bikaner and go on a city tour, stopping at the city palace (Old Fort) and the Bazaar (Time Permitting, We Can See The Camel Farm). Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 04: Bikaner-Jaisalmer Drive 7/8 Hrs
After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer, stopping en route to see the Gajner Palace. Check into your hotel in Jaisalmer. Evening strolls around and take in the sunset. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 05: Jaisalmer sightseeing
In the morning, visit the fort and havelis. Visit Sam San Dunes in the afternoon. Camel ride all the way to Sam peak. Take in the sunset. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaisalmer- Jodhpur Drive -7/8 Hrs
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Travel to Jodhpur by car. Arrive in Jodhpur and make your way to Mehergarh Fort. Visit the surrounding area before driving to a hotel for the night.
Day 07: Jodhpur- Kota Drive 6/7 Hrs
After a morning sightseeing tour of the city, depart for Kota. Arrive and proceed to the City Palace, Jagmandir, and Cenotaphs for sightseeing. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 08: Kota-Ajmer- Pushkar Drive -7/8 Hrs
Drive to Ajmer in the morning. Arrival and city sightseeing, including visits to the Jain Temple, Janpura (Masjid), Taragarh Fort, and the Museum. Overnight stay at a hotel
Day 09: Ajmer-Pushkar-Jaipur Drive- 6/7 Hrs
Drive to Pushkar in the morning. Visit the Temple and the Ghat. Return to Jaipur and continue on to Jaipur. Arrive at the hotel and check-in. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 10: Jaipur sightseeing
Morning excursion to Amer Fort, including an elephant ride to the fort. Afternoon sightseeing includes visits to the city palace, Jantar Mantar, the Hawa Mahal, and the bazaars. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 11: Jaipur- Agra Drive -5/6 Hrs
Drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikiri in the morning. Arrive and proceed to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort for sightseeing. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 12: Agra- Delhi Drive 5/6 Hrs
Drive to Delhi in the morning. Arrive at the hotel and check in to freshen up. Transfer to the international airport in the evening to board a flight to the next destination.
